Absolutely Adorable!

Among all of the other fantastic books by embebooks, this one is a favorite of mine. I grew up with siblings, so I could relate to both point of views . The storytelling is funny, playful, and whimsical. The illustration is imaginative and appealing. This is enjoyable to read, even for adults. My daughter is going to have a sibling soon. When that day comes, it is nice to have a book to teach her that maybe her brother isn’t all that bad!

beautifully captures the essence of sibling dynamic

“My Sister is a Bother” is a delightful rhyming book that beautifully captures the essence of sibling dynamics – from conflict to connection. Initially, we see the brother frustrated by his little sister's interruptions to his playtime. However, a shift in perspective unveils the sister's endearing view of her brother as her closest friend and favorite play companion. The brother concludes, “My sister is still a bother. But I love her more and more.” This heartfelt revelation resonates with readers familiar with sibling relationships, capturing the universal cycle of squabbles and shared moments of joy.
One unique aspect of the book is the incorporation of Vietnamese translations for key words, enriching the reading experience and promoting language acquisition.
Ultimately, “My Sister is a Bother” is a touching narrative that celebrates the complexities and enduring bonds of sibling love. It’s a perfect read for children struggling with bothersome siblings to reframe their relationships.
